We
offer you multichannel IR detectors, which have been developed
in cooperation between VTT and Finnish companies. The detectors
use Si and lead salt elements as sensors covering wavelengths
between 0.4-5.5 µm, with MCT resistors up to 10 µm.
By
thorough research and development work we were capable to obtain
excellent specifications to the detector:
- Light
leakage level is typically below 0.1% of peak intensity

Temperature tracking between channel signals is typically 0.01
%/°C.
- Environmental
specification according IEC-68-2 standards and customer requirements
The
small size, rugged all solid state construction and simultaneous
measuring of channels makes the detector specially suitable for
portable and process instrumentation applications. In laboratory
and medical applications you can take advantage of the simultaneous
measurement of different channels to make your customer's standard
tests faster and more economic. The low stray light leakage and
separate detector elements for each wavelength make possible applications
which are extremely difficult with other detector structures.
In addition you can make your analyzer development project shorter
and more straightforward by leaving detector development to us
and concentrating your efforts on the analyzer business.
